Whether it’s Anthropologie sharing awesome clothes, Whole Foods sharing tasty recipes, the Smithsonian sharing fascinating collections, or Amazon making products easy to pin, many of us have been inspired on Pinterest by businesses.”So, if you already have a personal Pinterest account that you’ve been using for business purposes, let’s walk you through the process and provide the details necessary to do it right, the first time! It’s super easy, so lets jump right in!
How To Convert A Personal Account To A Business Account
Step 1: Go to business.pinterest.com, and click the red ‘Convert your existing account’ button.
Step 2: Next, select your ‘Business Type,’ and update your ‘Contact Name,’ and ‘Email Address,’ if necessary.
Step 3: Still on the same page, fill out the next section, ‘Profile Info.’
Step 4: Scroll down to the ‘Agreement’ section, and read the agreement. Then, agree to it.
Once you’ve agreed to the terms for businesses, the ‘Convert Account’ button will turn red and you can click it. Then wait for it…
You’re done! Hooray! Easy as pie!
How To Setup A Business Account For The First Time
So, what if you don’t have a Pinterest account already? Great news! Setting up an account for a business is just as easy as converting an existing Pinterest account. All you have to do is follow the same exact steps we just walked through, except when it come to clicking the big red ‘Convert your existing account’ button. Instead, you will click on the smaller red text blow it that says, ‘New to Pinterest? Join as a business’. Just so you remember, this is found at business.pinterest.com.
